"Lily walked to the other side of the mess before us; where she expected that elemental to be. Suddenly she froze, shivering and in a shock. I knew it couldn’t mean anything was alright. As I ran toward her, it showed itself. The second piece of decay was instantly recognizable. It was his guardian; the one who was consumed, and now wore an orange, grotesque growth mocking the mask underneath. It no longer moved like a guardian, the left arm moving forward like a slug or a worm, and the right pushing it like a tail. Then I saw the elemental Lily called emerald. He was being swallowed alive, his arm and legs limply hanging out. The orange growth seemed to smile at us, mocking that we saw horror in front of us. Lily’s eyes were full of rage as her panic turned to rage, and she readied her spear."
