My twin brother surprised me with a camera body!
I HAVE A WORKING CAMERA OF MY OWN AGAIN!
It was so unexpected and sweet, I cried like a baby from tears of joy. I'm actually sick today or there would be plenty of positive energy. -enjoyable light study-

Curator’s Comments:
Stop and Start initially looks like isolated film stills. Perhaps this is because of the sequential arrangement of the photographs on a partitioned grid, or because they collectively capture poses suggesting stop motion images and a close-up. The darkened bedroom environment provides an intimate and vaguely voyeuristic scene, until the gaze of the face in the upper right quadrant returns our stare. I looked back through your other works posted to the site, and while I enjoyed many of the drawn portraits, they don’t capture the soulful tenderness conveyed in your photographs. The mosaic collage is quite sophisticated, and I was surprised to read in your caption that it was created for a class in 2011. I would love to see how your photography has evolved since those early self-portraits were created exploring reflection, identity and self-discovery.
