This subtle mixed media piece Hedgehog & Possum appeared in my random selections on the site this morning.  I found myself searching the image for a photographic source as digital photography was listed as one of the medias, but instead found analogously treated animal forms that appeared delicately hand manipulated. The soft and tinted color palette reinforces the surreal mood of floating creatures. The central arrangement of these figures is interestingly offset by a bold diagonal ground, and boundary assigned pinkish-mossy green color shifts.  I also appreciate the square composition, which crops the interior rectangular plane on a diagonal, so that the top left edge brings the flow back through the piece.  The piece is both calm and dreamy; graphic and animated in character. I would like to see what you’ve been working on more recently, and hope you consider posting new work to the site.
