The playful Snaggle toothed Winged Elephant on Skateboard came up for me randomly on the site, and it was an opportunity for me to revisit your stylized graffiti-inspired work. This small elephant piece enjoys some of the same gestural moment seen throughout your colorful signature style, but appears to more directly highlight unmanipulated collaged papers in the finished support. Maintaining the rectilinear grid of the tickets plays nicely against the organic form of the animal, while tying into the theme of mobility.  The very tiny wheels of the skateboard are also a humorous contrast to the elephant rider.  Their small circles gives a visual nod to the printed dots in the background.  I appreciate the bold graphic images created on your actual skateboards, and the relationship this small and somewhat understated collage plays in your larger body of work.
