A concept of a god from the second book of my series (The Mutatione inrerius Mundi), titled The Terra Nubelesus. Gods stand for behaviors, emotions, and situations Andrew faced in the social world.
"naturally slumping, your two masks are forced to look down in pessimism by a fleshy hood, making it harder to break from pessimism. Your pigmentation's an other interesting trait. Your flesh, pail and white, is riddled with vessels filled with a fluid that darkens when seen from a particular angle. With that ability, you emulate the image behind you in almost perfect proportion, camouflaging you to whoever you know is watching.
But you doubt yourself too much, and if it's too much to look up, look to your sides and walk. You have nothing to loose trying, and plenty of opportunities at risk by slumping. So travel and as you do, create yourself pail and illustrate each moment you don't regret on yourself and hold onto them. Keep doing so until your hide is pigmented darkly by every scene, and still keep walking. You have nothing to loose." -description of visual metaphor.
