"It was waiting for me the entire time. I knew that. What shocked me was the truth behind why this levian wraith became consumed... It saw the golden moon, and chose painful decomposition over the freedom it once represented. When the rain poured and the river flooded, what choice would we have other than the abandoned lodge peaking above. The one abandoned long ago, or abated of whoever built it. When emerald said that he saw something in the flashing lightning, pointing its nose at us in the dark field, I knew I was to encounter what I would now fear the most. The moment i looked at the bloated creature in the field, it's eye lit like an ember. It was clearly approaching now; we had to face it. That's when the sepia sky came, and the golden moon lit in the blackened sky. As I approached the jagged bones of a levian wraith, I saw the fleshy, decay-riddled wraith slowly approaching. Those eyes, and that colossal mouth.... As they lit, I felt a burning within me I could not explain. I struggled as the creature still approached, burning brighter and brighter. Lily came to my aid, but couldn't fathom what was going on. Then, as I struggled in the grasses, the levian wraith let out a cry and its flesh burnt. It's entire body began to decintigrate in a golden blaze, and in the process, I was knocked unconcious from the pain. When I awoke, we were all terrified. We were up against something that could convince the most graceful creature in the forest that becoming a monster was a better life. In the end, it was just a pawn as it burnt up, but how was the source of shaddow and decay going to use this on himself?"
