Thanks so much Dennis! I like your read of the painting.
This painting has a Chagall flavor when I see it, but is also very unique and composed in the surreal world of art. The more you look into it, which the composition draws you in, the more you see hidden signs or images. I interpret the Leopard as a predator hunting elusive rabbits on one side, and being pursued by a hunter and his dog on the other. The dog's front gesture or stance suggests a determined animal with a massive human apparition to back him up. Also, I really like the colors that were used but even more are the static and kinetic snap shot movements which catches my attention. I think this is one of your outstanding works. I can see this much bigger as a mural.
