I greatly appreciate this feedback on my new work!  The medium is oil pastel and pastel on paper.  The "unrestrained energy", (energy that is not predetermined, directed or confined) that the Curator speaks of is exactly what I what I was hoping to achieve, so thank  you!

While you don’t indicate media on this piece, I’m drawn into the gestural markings and earthy coloration.   I enjoy the subtle vacillations between values within the lines- seeming to almost switch from positive to negative as the tonal values shift when they cross a color plane. This work in particular also seems to have unrestrained energy, as the lines change direction throughout the piece.  There are also more varied sizes of interstices.   I also take pleasure in Uncertain Destiny II, despite the more equalized relationships between the shapes. The elongated horizon of the picture plane/support creates a dynamic equilibrium between organic forms and luminous color.
