When Wheel-3 came up randomly on the site today I initially mistook it for a charcoal drawing or mezzotint. Only after reading the caption of media and perusing back through your other pieces did I recognize as a one of your fabulous crochet sculptures.  Presumably an aerial view of the dimensional piece, the soft edges flatten into the black background, and offer hazy contrast. While I had admired your innovative and dramatic forms quite some time ago, coming across this piece today I was reminded of the unusual starkness created with organic forms.  I do hope you post new work on the site, as I would love to see if you’ve continued your practice in this direction.
