The Hudson River School Artists beleived that studying the land let to enlightenment and a connection with divine harmony: for me, that sums it up. I'm always looking for that connection. Its a spiritual connection to the earth, that I feel. Being out there in the woods, or by a river is pure joy. Being able to paint the landscape now, at this time in my life has been a gift. So thankful to the women I have been priveleged to study under, who have encouraged and supported me in my efforts to be the best I can be as an artist.

My goal is to focus on the beauty that surrounds mein every aspect of my life. I I can get that down on paper, then I've done something I can be proud of.
