[Jenni Dickens]

I am fascinated by how we define and occupy physical spaces and especially by our attempts to connect internally with those external environments. I find it is ultimately a disconnect that defines this relationship. A disconnect between our minds and physical selves; ourselves and others; our memories--both real and imagined; and our animal and human nature. We have a strong desire--even need-- for connection, but this potential connection is hindered, not only by an inability to connect fully, but by our desire to remain hidden.
