I paint Cherry Blossom every year.
I used to hate it because it never bears fruit, even though Japanese people like it very much.
They like it because flower is very short-lived and it seems it concentrates its highest beauty at its peak.

I like Cherry Blossom with different reason. It blooms every year after a long gloomy winter time.
It gives us hope and encourage us to live.

Recently Japan sent Cherry Trees to Washington, U.S.A. a hundred years ago for our mutual friendship. (I should have known better.)
This site is US based and I dedicate my work Sakura (Cherry Blossom)
for you.
