Hi Martin,
Thank you very much ! Very nice of you.
I love your artworks : They make me think of Dali's artworks, especially your acrylics . Congatulations!
Do you have a facebook profile ,
thanks for your comments about the work martin. actually, i have been working on reducing the tonal range in the pieces. if you go to my website www.zkartz.com you will see older work (particularly the "synthetic worlds" series) they are strongly figure ground. i will probably go back and forth - i just tend to try to work on an approach that helps me learn something new. reducing figure/ground puts extra stress on getting the color right, and color is what i am working on mostly at the moment. yes, the pieces are quite urban - i agree about that. in a year of two when we move to the country, it will be interesting to see if that element fades. thanks again! j
I am leaving for Sicily tomorrow - I will be returning on the 24th of May and at that time I will catch up with comments, and friend requests and things like that.
Hi Martin. I'really appreciate your personality. You are so involved, so altruistic and vibrant. Still in your works I can see surrealistic characters in solitude and drama wich tell me a story of a constant realistic research for a better society, Thanks.
Hey Mart, our last meeting/crit.; we talked about work, but never addressed idea's of marketing. I would like to get together again soon to brainstorm & discuss.
Whata think?
As I am a bit too(reserved). But, would like to change that. This seems like a really good place too connect with other artists. Also, thats a very interesting photo of you and Sarah. I would like to say that the bar does seem rather debris free.
Hi Martin,
I believe that your 'Chicago Portraits' image is to large (in dimensions). It is overwhelming page space on shared blogs. If you can reduce the dimensions it would be appreciated.
Thanks! Some of the photos were taken in Salvador, Brazil (They will be exhibited later in the month), a few were from my trip to Turkey and the rest of the photos were taken through out the States.. I started to use the camera as a creative tool about two years ago when i was feeling frustrated about not being able to create art while working on the road with my father..
