Curator’s Comments:  

The smooth perfection of Eternity suits the minimally sculpted form, giving what I presume to be a digital work a sense of astral light and movement.  The subtle manipulation of cool blues and dark violet hues on the exterior perimeter of the form contrast the warmer interior.  They somewhat reverse the illusion of atmospheric perspective, as the warmer hues intensity as they move inward.  It looks as though a glowing light is emanating from the interior.  I also detect even more subtle horizontal bands of alternating values in the center of the work.  I’m intrigued by the sense that the image gives the simultaneous sensation of an object and a vast space. The black background surrounding this form contributes to the mood of a spatial expanse.  The title of the piece gives language to the visual ambiguity and poetically holds the viewer in time and space.
