Bowl tomatillo is a rather didactic title for such a dreamy piece!  I realize it may have just simply been a signifier for your portfolio, but I also appreciate the abstraction, and ambiguity of what might otherwise be mysterious forms. The play with transparent color and reflected textures is particularly engaging. The round edge of the bowl at the bottom of the composition anchors the cloud like petals within the tomatillos, creating a lush and unexpected arrangement. While this piece appeared randomly today, I looked back through your work on the site, and remembered admiring the similarly manipulated floral subjects. The contrast between amorphous shapes and crisp edges is evident throughout your organic and lush abstractions.
