I find it interesting that of the three sculptures you have on the site they appear to represent three different formal approaches, or aesthetics.  The figurative Elephant Within may be my favorite of the trio, as it has a whimsical quality despite the economy of form.  I also detect an African or at least non-Western interest in form, in the proportionally heavy cylindrical legs and base.   The statue also vacillates between sculpture in the round as a freestanding piece, while containing low relief carving in the totem-like torso section and head.  It’s also a bit mysterious as scale and medium aren’t indicated, but I imagine it on a fairly small and intimate, personal scale.
