As I sat with my mother for the many months she was dying of cancer, I made small sketches of her which I then made into very large drawings. It was one way I had of becoming closer to her.

Hello Carol,
I take care of my mother full time - she has FTD (a type of dementia). I have only been able to complete one painting of her (so far) too much emotional things going on inside, I guess. This drawing emulates such feeling. It brought tears to my eyes.
