through the digital eye

"Curator’s Comments: Through the Digital Eye seemed an apt work to contemplate at this years end.  While created long ago, the piece resonates as we consider the nature of digital expression in the rise of AI, and question the role of…"

six bottles

"Curator’s Comments: It’s almost impossible for me to look at a painting of bottles and not think of Giorgio Morandi. Six Bottles is a distinctly more abstract approach to the subject, and yet the objects arranged in a loose horizonal…"

"Curator’s Comments: Grasses was posted quite a while ago, but I was glad to revisit the piece when it appeared in a random selection. The dexterous handling of atmospheric space is evident in the chunky portrayal of the blocks of tall grass in…"

Hi Brian, Thank you for your comments on my artwork. Yes Lawrence Gallery show was a great success. They sell the most of any of my galleries.

Very interesting abstracts you do. Love the collage looking one and the abstract is very interesting to view. catherine

Dear Brian,
I particularly like your landscapes. The colors, forms, tetures and light in them add up to a great emotional impact. Would you consider grouping like pictures together - all the landscapes together, the abstracts together, etc? And I would appreciate knowing the sizes and materials.

Hi Brian,
Thank you for all your support and kind words. Somedays do seem a bit overwhelming. My mother is having some additional health issues, so I have been busy running her to doctors and it seems she will need surgery again.
In case I haven't mentioned it lately, I do really like your work. Some of your abstracts are particularly intriguing and you have a wonderful eye of balance and color. I will have to go through all your pieces again to pick out my favorites.
I have had a little time to paint and finished 2 more pieces which I will post soon (I promise).
Thanks for always staying in touch. You are the best!
Take care,
Cyndy

I really think your work is amazing! Many fellow artisit have shown interest in the following weekly ideas . If you could take the time to email me back real quick with Yes or No it would be so helpful!

1. Are you interested in being a FEATURED ARTIST of the week. This is where you get you work critiqued, you can get feedback, ask questions...anything its your week!

2. Are you interesed in being a FEATURED KNOWLEDGE artist of the week. This is where you write a blurb about anything you think is important for up and coming artist. Your choice! It would be helpful if you would be willing to answer questions people may have about what you write about!

3. Are you interested in ONLINE ChAT (9pm mon seems to work with most people) or mulit-phone line chat with Altetta (time yet to be determined)

I hope all is well and take care.

Hi Brian, its nice to meet you and thank you for the great comments. I have been working on the concept "No Man's Land" for 2 years, its to do with me feeling that i am between 2 countries, as i am greek-australian and not quite feeling that i stand my ground in either country. Painting is the best, isn't it?
