I have taken the second step of a chaotic plan to become a working artist by uploading some of my work.  I welcome your comments, critiques and encouragement.  Doubt about my talent is nourished by the numerous juried exhibition rejections I have gotten.  How do you cope?  How do you find the right galleries to send your work?

As a child or "product" of the 70's and 80's, I feel very connected to that time and that connection is demonstrated in my work.  My inspiration is born out of nostalgia.  My work is often a method to communicate the fondness of a childhood that seems to be lost on today's youth.  As I work on a piece, I feel unlimited possiblity; If I can IMAGINE it, it can be.

just back from Seattle where I studied with Rob Liberace.The course was excellent and had us using Velasquez,s palette and now I am grinding my own pigments. Journey that has taken much research ,but enjoying the end results. The lapis lazuli is expensive to purchase in tube form so I opted to grind my own, way cheaper. ie, £87, to £4.00, no comparison.
